My biggest tip: Keep your videos short and to the point. Attention spans are at an all-time low, and the typical Facebook feed is loaded with distractions. Facebook users aren’t generally in the mindset of watching lengthy videos. They’ll tune out if you post a long video, but they’ll also happily consume bite-sized videos.

Sound is less of a concern on Facebook, too, as many of us casually scroll through our newsfeeds on our phones — sometimes in environments where we don’t want to disturb others near us with audio. If your video has a lot to say, consider using captions, subtitles, or a format like the glassboard video above.
